Introduction
This is a compulsory core Module in the PGDip Programme. The programme focus is to address the role of Customs in the 21st century, as it faces the challenges posed by Globalisation, Trade Facilitation initiatives, and Safety & Security concerns that necessitate a renewed professional approach to the management, control, regulation, and operations of Trade, and Border control, for Customs Administrations, Compliant Traders, and Logistics Service Providers, across the globe.
The various International, Regional, and National instruments, that currently regulate Customs Taxation will be covered, and the Module will also critically compare and various contrast obstacles facing developing countries in meeting modern-day challenges associated with the administration of Customs Taxation.
